  • Respond to your questions or support requests
  • Improve and develop the Service
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Prevent fraud and abuse

We will only send you emails you signed up for. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. We do not send spam.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. Period.

We share information only in these limited circumstances:

Service providers:

We use trusted third-party tools to operate our business, including:

  • Supabase (database and data storage — servers located in the United States)
  • Email service providers (for sending launch and alert notifications)
  • SMS providers such as Twilio (for text message alerts, only if you opt in)
  • Analytics tools (to understand how people use our site — anonymized where possible)

Each provider is required to handle your data only as directed by us and in compliance with applicable law.

Legal requirements:

We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or to protect the rights and safety of Camplyst, our users, or the public.

Business transfers:

If Camplyst is acquired, merged, or undergoes a sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not share, rent, or sell your data to advertisers, data brokers, or any third party for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention

We retain your waitlist information until:

  • You unsubscribe or request deletion, or
  • The Service has launched and you have had the opportunity to create a full account, or
  • We determine the data is no longer needed for the purposes described in this policy.

After you delete your account or request removal, we will delete or anonymize your data within 30 days, unless we are required to retain it by law.

  • Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.

California residents: Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), you have additional rights including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and to opt out of any sale (we do not sell your data).

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@camplyst.com with the subject line "Privacy Request." We will respond within 30 days.
